February 2010 I walked home from the store and was crossing the street in front of my house. I looked at the 'bay' window of the entry room where a small lamp was lit. I saw a figure run past the window. My immediate thought was that Ahri - who was upstairs on the computer when I left - was running downstairs and to her room to get something. When I walked in the door, I went straight upstairs to find that Ahri was still on the computer. I then came downstairs and walked past the lamp so it would cast a shadow on the sheer curtains. My shadow went all the way to the ceiling. The figure I had seen didn't cast a shadow so I knew right then that it was an apparition.
April 28, 2010 I was lying on the living room floor. I happened to look up and into the entry room. I immediately noticed a fully black head peaking over the stair rail. In just a split second, it realized I had spotted it and it backed away out of sight. Just a few moments later, I faintly heard a young female voice. I couldn't tell what she had said but it came from the direction of the stairway.
